Setting up a cgit interface was a great way to serve up my mottley collection of files in a easily browsable fashion. But AI robots have made that untenable. They ignore admonisions to not stay out and hammer the server over and over until it eventually crashes. So cgit is out for now and my broken web site is more broken than ever.
