So I scraped the old drupal blog.free.draisey.ca for the old posts and the garland look and feel. Throw that together with the very old free.draisey.ca projects pages and the mess that is the gitweb archive and you have the brand new broken web site.

The new hugo static site generator is primed for blogging. Markdown makes writing the blog easy, I never got the WYSIWYG blogging to work reliably in drupal which is largely why i gave up on it. Also that and maintaining a php app with a debian package was more work than I was willing to endure.

And I am a git bigot which plays in nicely with hugo’s command line interface.

Maybe I’ll resume my blogging and add a section to house the new stuff — or maybe not.
